Gold Medal Winner-Best in Show
The Lost Melody has been awarded Global Music Award’s Best in Show honors for their album I’ll See You Again: A Tribute to Vince Maggio. The Lost Melody, comprised of Joe Davidian (Piano), Jamie Ousley (Bass), and Austin McMahon (Drums) came together to create this tribute album in memory of their mentor Vince Maggio. Davidian, Ousley, and McMahon met while studying at the University of Miami, under the instruction of Maggio. The Lost Melody credits Maggio’s teachings as a foundation to their dedication and love for music. Vince Maggio studied under legendary musicians Oscar Peterson and Bill Evans and passed these gifts to his students. This record not only shows the talent of this group but also a beautiful story of the impact of students and teachers across generations. We are honored to present I’ll See You Again: A Tribute to Vince Maggio as Best of Show for the awards season of April 2026. - Global Music Awards
